What the Law Actually Says
Choice of repairer is a policy feature, not a universal right written into NSW road law. Some policies include it as standard, some as an optional extra, and some don’t offer it at all. Read your PDS, because that document decides what you can insist on before an assessor ever gets involved.
Without the Option, You Still Have Leverage
